In simple terms, Invisalign are clear braces. The Invisalign system straightens your teeth without making you walk into your classroom or boardroom with a mouth full of shiny metal.

The Invisalign system corrects your alignment using plastic trays that have been custom fit to your mouth. The system does not involve the wires and brackets relied on by traditional braces. The Invisalign aligners are clear, making them nearly invisible. They will not shift over time like metal brackets and will work to gently guide your teeth into alignment slowly over time.

As your alignment begins to correct and your teeth begin to shift, you will need to visit your dentist for new aligners. This usually takes place every 6 months or so.

Patients using Invisalign love that they can remove their aligners to make eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing simpler and more accessible. While the aligners are easy to take in and out of your mouth, it is recommended to keep them on your teeth for at least 20 hours a day for best treatment results.
